บทที่ ๓

ชมเมือง

เจ้าพระยาสง่าเพี้ยง ธารสวรรค์

กรุงเทพเทพนครทัน ถิ่นฟ้า

ใจไทยย่อมหฤหรรษ์ หอมทิพย์ ธรรมแฮ

ตราบเมื่อนี้เมื่อหน้า เมื่อโน้นนิรันดร์เกษม

(๑) เจ้าเอย เจ้าพระยา ถั่งธารามานานไกล

เอิบอาบกำซาบใจ หล่อเลี้ยงไทยเลื่องลือนาม

(๒) เป็นถิ่นแห่งศีลธรรม รุ่งเรืองล้ำร่มอาราม

โลกร้อนไฟลุกลาม แดนสยามยังร่มเย็น

(๓) ดินแดนแห่งกาสาว์ คือสมญาโลกย่อมเห็น

ศีลธรรมที่บำเพ็ญ ช่วยดับเข็ญได้ทุกครา

(๔) พระแก้วอยู่เหนือเกล้า ทุกค่ำเช้าเฝ้าบูชา

ศีลทานสานศรัทธา เปรมปรีดาด้วยความดี

(๕) บัวบุญจึงเบ่งบาน อบดวงมานหอมหวานทวี

รอยยิ้มอิ่มอารี เติมไมตรีเต็มหัวใจ

(๖) ความรู้อาจไม่หลาก แต่ความรักไม่รองใคร

น้ำจริงอาจแล้งไป แต่น้ำใจยังไหลแรง

(๗) แสงเทียนทุกยามค่ำ คือแสงธรรมยังทอแสง

เดือนปีอาจเปลี่ยนแปลง แต่รักแรงไม่เปลี่ยนไป

(๘) บ้านเรือนไม่หรูหรา แต่สูงค่าปัญญาไทย

หนทางอาจห่างไกล แต่หัวใจใกล้ชิดกัน

(๙) น้ำใจไม่เคยจืด อยู่ยาวยืดยิ้มยืนยัน

ต่างเพศต่างผิวพรรณ แต่ใจนั้นไม่ต่างใจ

(๑๐) ศูนย์รวมคือพ่อหลวง ร้อยรักปวงดวงใจไทย

ทุกพระองค์คือธงชัย ร้อยดวงใจจอมจักรี

(๑๑) ราชันขวัญสยาม ปิ่นเพชรงามปักธานี

ร่มพระบารมี ศรีไผทฉัตรชัยชน

(๑๒) ไตรรงค์ธงชัยโชค ลอยอวดโลกโบกลมบน

ขวัญฟ้าขวัญตายล ขวัญกมลมงคลชัย

(๑๓) กรุงเทพคือกรุงธรรม งามเลิศล้ำด้วยน้ำใจ

งามนอกไม่หลอกใคร พร้อมงามในจริงใจครัน

(๑๔) สยามจึงงามพร้อม หัวใจหอมไม่หุนหัน

เกลียดใครไม่นานวัน แต่รักนั้นนานไม่วาง

(๑๕) ขัดแย้งแต่ไม่แยก แม้ต่างแตกไม่แตกต่าง

เจียมใจไว้ไม่จาง คุณใครสร้างค้างใจจำ

(๑๖) เมืองไทยคือเมืองทอง ขอพี่น้องครองรักนำ

ถ้าไทยไม่ทิ้งธรรม ไทยสุขล้ำฉ่ำชื่นไทย

(๑๗) เมื่อนี้ตราบเมื่อหน้า คงคู่หล้าฟ้าดินกษัย

เกษมสุขสิ้นทุกข์ภัย ชมชื่อไทยไป่สิ้นเทอญ.

Chapter III

The Song for The City

The Chao Phraya River looks like the heavenly river.

The City of Bangkok looks like the heavenly city.

The minds of the Thais are full of the heavenly Dharma.

It is like this today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and to eternal period.

1.It is indeed the Chao Phraya River that has fostered the economy and the wealth of Thailand.

2.This is the land of the people who have good morality.

Thailand is peaceful country due to the influence of the Buddha’s teaching

3.It is the land of the yellow robes where Buddhist Dharma has been always put into practice.

4.It is the city where the Emerald Image of the Buddha is located.

5.The Thais have good minds due to the influence of Buddhism.

6.Even though the Thais may lag behind other people in terms of knowledge, they do not lag behind other people in terms of love for other people.

Even though the Thai may suffer from shortage of water sometimes, they do not suffer from shortage of good minds.

7.In the night time the light of the candles lighting for triple game has been seen everywhere since the past until today.

8.Even though the Thais have small and humble houses, their houses are built in good Thai art. Even though Thailand is far away place, the Thais’ minds are not far from the minds of other people.

9.The Thais love and care for other people across the world regardless of sex and races.

10.The present King of Chakkri Dynasty is the center of the loyal mind of the Thais. The Thais love and respect Him very much.

11.The King is regarded as the precious person of the country.

12.The Thai flag will be flying eternally.

13.The city of Bangkok is the city of Dharma where the people have always good minds.

14.The Thai people are beautiful in minds.

When they get angry they never do so long.

When they love they do love so long.

15.The Thais are sometimes in conflict but that situation does not bring about disunity.

16.Thailand is the golden city. This is due to its people clinging to the Buddhist Dharma.

17.Thailand and its name will last eternally.
